Matt Anderson Foundation

When our son passed away in 2013, my wife and I started the Matthew Anderson David Douglas Foundation to support student athletes who balance academics, accountability and community service. If a student athlete maintains a 3.0 GPA or higher and completes 20 hours of community service, the foundation may help fund their athletic training. Cruis'n for the Scots Benefit Event

"On August 5th, I hosted the Cruis'n for the Scots car show to benefit the Matthew Anderson David Douglas Foundation. It was a great event, and it was so much fun to see all the amazing cars. My thanks go out to the community for supporting the car show and to my fellow Allstate agents for supporting this cause that is so close to my heart. During this event, we qualified for a $30,000 Allstate Foundation Helping Hands in the Community grant. The grant will go towards the foundation’s efforts to build a student athlete culture that balances academics, accountability and community service. I see firsthand the opportunities and challenges facing young people today, which is why I started the Matthew Anderson David Douglas Foundation in honor of my son. I’m proud to be one of thousands of Allstate agency owners around the country who care for their communities by supporting important local causes".-Tim Anderson
